The math
The starting point is $20 to $40 for every 1,000 views of a typical video.
Then the niche moves it: a finance channel is worth 2.2 times that, a gaming channel 0.9 times.
A tech channel whose videos average 30,000 views would ask $900 to $1,800 for one sponsorship.
That is 30 times $20 and 30 times $40, each multiplied by 1.5 for tech.
Use your typical video, not your best one
A brand looks at your last ten or so videos before it answers.
Quote from the one video that went viral and the price falls apart the moment they scroll.
What the range buys
It prices an integration: a minute or so about the sponsor inside an ordinary video.
A dedicated video, all about the brand, is worth several times more.
So is a pinned link that stays up for good, or the right to use your clip in the brand's own ads.
- An engaged audience raises it. A 6% engagement rate is a stronger pitch than a big subscriber count.
- Viewers in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia raise it - that is where ad money is spent.
- A clear niche raises it. A budgeting app pays more for a finance audience than for a general one.
